What to do when your parents bestow the bounty of their apple trees on you.
Firstly, stick your head in the bag (but don't seal it, this is dangerous) and smell the deliciousness of them. This is VITAL in the enjoyment of them, so you don't get sick of having a sackful of apples taking up space in the kitchen.
Second, eat one, preferably in the sunshine.
Third, bake! Pie, baked apple, dorset apple cake, apple and cinnamon cupcakes (yet to be attempted...), and most importantly, APPLE SAUCE! This must be made in huge quantities, frozen if you cannot eat it all or share it out between your housemates, and put with practically everything; best with pancakes, french toast and dorset apple cake.
These are the rules of apples. There ain't no doctors going near me!
